The Ex Machina is a truly bespoke bike that took on the customer’s inspiration of pistons, the 1925 Rolls Royce Phantom and machinery. Through collaboration, sweat and tears we created a unique cycle to reflect this concept.  From the hand pierced bilaminate head tube which is inlaid with silver to custom hand carved stainless steel skewers and valve caps, virtually everything on this bike that could have been handmade has!

Frame: - 700c Stainless Steel road bike with Hartley Cycles contour crown.

Tubing: - Columbus XCR frameset and Columbus steel fork blades.

Wheelset: - Campanolo Bora Ultra 35

Groupset: - Campagnolo Super Record groupset with carbon chain rings

Finishing Kit: WR carbon stem, bars and seatpost, carbon saddle covered by Busyman Bicycles.

Paint: - Hand Spray paint by Hartley Cycles, dark navy blue with orange and yellow fade.

Details: - Hand cut solid silver detailing. Internal cable routing for rear brake.  Hartley Cycles stainless steel Contour Crown, custom made QR levers, valve caps and allen key set.
