This bespoke bicycle was built for Eroica Brittania a wonderful vintage inspired bike race and festival in the Peak District. Although classically inspired the lightweight steel frameset is bang up to date in terms of functionality. Built here with a beautiful vintage groupset to complete the classic feel, it has a few hidden features meaning it is ready to accept the latest 11sp groupsets with STI or Ergo integrated shifters and has a modern road geometry.
Frame: - 700c classic steel lightweight road bike
Tubing: - Columbus Spirit for Lugs over size steel with silver soldered lugged construction.
Wheelset: - Hplus Son TB14 polished alloy rims & Campagnolo Grand Sport High Flange hubs.
Forks: - 700c classic steel road fork with lugged fork crown.
Groupset and Finishing Kit: - Shimano Golden Arrow vintage group, Campagnolo Record vintage seatpost & headset, Brooks leather bar tape & B17 saddle.
Paint: - Custom paint work in metalic midnight blue with pearl orange and cherry red fades. Name etc. all in paint, no decals. Forks painted to match.
Details: - Internally routed rear brake cable. Solid silver details hand cut and brazed onto frame - inc. head badge and lug details added to seat cluster, down tube and fork crown.
